PSG Desperate to sign Messi


Copa America Champions captain Lionel Messi was reportedly offered ‘everything money could buy’ by Paris Saint-Germain to sign a contract with the team and also to re-unite with his friend Neymar,Messi and Neymar they were playing for Barcelona before.The 34-year-old is currently a free agent after his contract at Barcelona expired on July 1.

But it is understood that the Argentina international has agreed a new five-year deal at the Nou Camp, with the official announcement  will expected  immediately.The news will come as a blow to Brazilian forward Neymar, who has been keen to play alongside the six-time Ballon d’Or winner again.

Neymar – who was recently snapped with Messi in Ibiza,spent four seasons in Catalonia, where he won the LaLiga title twice and Champions League once.And according to TNT Sports and Radio Italia journalist, Marcelo Bechler, Les Parisiens tried in vain to bring Messi to Parc des Princes.

It has been claimed that Messi’s wages could be cut by up to 50 per cent with Barca struggling financially due to the coronavirus pandemic,this deadly virus has affect many teams when comes to finance matters,teams cannot boost finance because supporters are not allowed in the stadiums.

Commenting on Messi’s future earlier this week, Blaugrana president Joan Laporta said: “We are doing what we can to keep our best player into the team,we want to resolve the matter before the 2021/2022 season starts,we want Messi to have no issues that will disturb his focus into the field of play"

“It is not completely resolved yet but it is progressing well and in the line that we have all thought.

“We will do everything possible within the possibilities of the club so that Messi continues playing for Barcelona.

If possible Messi will leave Barcelona and join PSG or any other teams it will be for the first time he is playing for another team in his career,its not easy to leave were you spent most of your.Messi grows up at Barcelona he started his soccer at Barcelona development team till to senior team.
