MaMkhize Has Sold Royal AM to Masala Mulaudzi
Shawn Mkhize has officially sold her club Royal AM to former TTM boss Masala Mulaudzi, according to speculation Shawn Mkhize appears to be interested in purchasing the Bloemfontein Celtics, who have been experiencing financial difficulties over the past seasons.KZN side Royal AM is considering a Bloemfontein Celtic's Premier Division status.
Royal AM owner Shauwn Mkhize made a serious approach to purchase Celtic from Free State club owner Max Tshabalala.Royal AM have been fighting to be reinstated as GladAfrica champions for a lengthy and sometimes in legal battle, but have been defeated in court on many occasions.
This follows an arbitration award of three(3) points to Sekhukhune United, the NFD's second-placed team at the time, for a match between Polokwane City and Sekhukhune United in February. As a result, Limpopo's Sekhukhune won the NFD and were promoted to the Premiership, while Royal was demoted to the promotion-relegation playoffs after not attending the games.
They were found guilty on all charges at their disciplinary committee meeting for failing to fulfill their four playoff fixtures, which was yet another setback in their fight. The sentencing date has been set on August 31. Royal has filed an appeal with the Supreme Court of Law, and if that fails, they have threatened to appeal to the Constitutional Court and the Court of Arbitration for Sport, a process that may take months.
Tshabalala, a Free State businessman with a history of financial problems, has put Celtic up for sale multiple times but due to part of the deal,many people can't purchase the team because if you buy the team it remains into Bloemfontein Town.Bloemfontein Celtics supporters don't want to see their beloved team move away from their city.
