The well travelled mokotjo has found has found a new home in USA
Bafana midlefilder Kamogelo Mokotjo has signed for Major League Soccer team FC Cincinnati,after he left English Championship team Brentford following the end of his contract in June and it was initially extended for two months after the Covid-19
The Odendaalsrus born is 29 years of age and he played for the likes of Supersport United,Feyenoord,Excelsior,PEC zwolle,Twente FC,Brentford and now he is on his way to Cincinnati.he was named the player of the tournament in 2003 when he led South Africa under-12 National team to the world title
He has earned 22 caps for Banana Bafana,having made his international debut in a friendly match against Mozambique in 2012.
The former Feyenoord defensive midlefilder will be joining the likes of Blaise Matuidi of Inter Miami,Javier Hernandez's of LA Galaxy and Nani of Orlando City.
